This Refunds & Returns Policy applies to all hardware products sold through Ayubots.com by Ayubots Robotics.
For software products, please refer to the individual software product pages for their specific refund and return terms.
1. Scope of this Policy
This policy covers:
- Physical hardware devices purchased directly from Ayubots.com.
- Hardware priced typically between USD $500 – $10,000.
- General conditions regarding refunds, returns, and warranty-related matters.
This policy does not cover:
- Software products (each software product contains its own separate policy).
- Service offerings such as installation, configuration, on-site visits, or other labor-based services.
Services are non-refundable.
Each hardware product may include product-specific return or warranty information in its description. In cases where product-specific terms conflict with this general policy, the product-specific terms will apply.
2. Eligibility for Refunds and Returns
30-Day Window
Ayubots accepts returns and refund requests within 30 days of the original purchase date, unless the product page specifies an alternative period.
Eligible Reasons for Return
A hardware product may qualify for a return or refund if:
- It arrives damaged, defective, or non-functional before first use.
- You receive an incorrect item.
- It fails to function as advertised upon arrival, provided it has not been misused, modified, or damaged after delivery.
Non-Eligible Reasons
Refunds or returns will not be granted if:
- The issue is covered under a product-specific warranty, but does not meet this policy’s criteria.
- Damage occurred due to misuse, improper installation, modifications, or accidents after receiving the item.
- The product is missing accessories, serial numbers, or shows signs of tampering.
- The product was purchased more than 30 days ago (unless product-specific terms extend this period).
3. Return Authorization
To initiate a return:
- Contact Ayubots Robotics customer support with your order number and details of the issue.
- If approved, we will provide:
- A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
- The nearest available return address or authorized return center.
Items returned without an RMA or sent to an unauthorized location may not be accepted.
4. Shipping Costs for Returns
- You are responsible for paying all return shipping costs unless otherwise stated in a product-specific warranty or agreement.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable.
- If your return is approved and a refund is issued, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from the refund amount.
Ayubots is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping. We recommend using a trackable and insured shipping service.
5. Refund Process
Once your returned item is received and inspected:
- We will notify you of approval or rejection of your refund.
- If approved, refunds will be issued to your original payment method.
Processing times may vary depending on payment provider, but typically take 5–10 business days.
Partial refunds may apply for:
- Items not returned in original condition.
- Missing parts, accessories, or manuals.
- Damage occurring after receiving the device.
6. Non-Refundable Items
The following cannot be returned or refunded:
- Software licenses, activation keys, or downloadable software.
- Service fees (e.g., installation, consulting, support labor).
- Customized or specially-built hardware unless defective upon arrival.
- Consumables or accessories marked as “final sale.”
7. Warranty Considerations
Some products may include manufacturer or Ayubots-provided warranties that extend beyond the refund/return period. These warranty terms:
- Are specific to each product.
- Cover defects in materials or workmanship under normal usage.
- Do not override or extend the general 30-day return period unless explicitly stated.
Warranty claims follow the procedures listed in the product-specific documentation.
